BARNESVILLE--Jan M. Toohey, 42, of Barnesville, died today (April 19,1984) in Barnesville Hospital.
He was born Feb. 5, 1942, in Barnesville, son of Joseph and VirginiaCarpenter Toohey.
Mr. Toohey was a mechanic with Consolidated Coal Co., a member ofAssumption Church of Barnesville, and a member of Elks Lodge 1699.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James.
He leaves his wife, Nancy Staso Toohey; two sons, Joseph and Jon, bothof the home; a sister, Sylvia Litz of Corona, Calif.; three brothers,Joseph M., Jerry M. and Jay M. Toohey all of Barnesville.

He was born Sept. 27, 1933, in Woodsfield, son of Nellie Hayes Keylorand the late Ray Keylor.
Mr. Keylor worked at Medigold Milk Co. and B&N Coal Company and alsothe Caldwell School Distract. He was a Summerfield High Schoolgraduate. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Church andwas a former member of the Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department.
He leaves a son, Rick (Denise) Keylor of Caldwell; a daughter, Mrs.Brian (Beth) Hurd of Urbana; three grandchildren, Staci and StephanieKeylor and B. BEVERLY---Joseph F. Keylor, 70, of Beverly, died Wednesday (Dec. 21,2005) at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 8, 1935, in Monroe County, son of Nellie Hayes Keylorand the late Ray Keylor.
Mr. Keylor retired from GTE in 1987, following 35 years of service.
He was a graduate of Summerfield High School and served with the U.S.Army in Germany.
He was a member of Beverly United Methodist Church and American LegionPost 389, Beverly.
He was a loyal volunteer of 25 years to the LA and Beverly VolunteerFire Department and Beverly Waterford Rescue Squad.
He loved to travel and camp in his RV and spend time with his familyand grandsons and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Allen Keylor; and a brother,William Keylor.
He leaves his wife, Marilyn J. Wehr Keylor, whom he married Nov. 25,1956; a son, Steven Lee Keylor and special friend, Tanya Winemillerand her son, D.J. of Oakland, TN.; a daughter, Alison Monique (Jerry)Donahue of Marietta; two grandsons, Jared Scott and Garret WilliamDonahue, who were the apples of his eyes; two brothers, Manifred(Kathy) Keylor of Woodsfield and Charles Keylor of New Lexington; andseveral nieces and nephews.

Richard Alden Hayes, 46, of Robins, died at 1 A.M. today (March 5,1981) at his home following an apparent heart attack.
He was born Aug. 25, 1934 in Belmont County,  the son of the lateTruman and Mamie Delong Hayes.  He was employed in quality control atHamilton Beach and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He leaves a son, Dwain Hayes, of the home;  two daughters, ChristinaHayes of the home and Mrs. Rich (Marica) Bryan of Cambridge;  astep-daughter, Mrs. David (Karen) Strohmeyer of Byesville;  threebrothers, Oscar and Paul, both of Cambridge, and Ray of Freeport R.D.3;  a sister, Mrs. Nelson (Inona) Hallford of Big Spring, Texas;  agranddaughter, Kelly Bryan;  and several nieces and nephews.  Abrother is deceased.

Ray Lawrence Hayes, 63, of 20480 Ranger Lane, Antrim, died at 6:45P.M. Friday (Sept. 29, 1989) at his home.
He was born Aug. 30, 1926 in Kennonsburg, son of the late Truman andMamie Delong Hayes.  He was a construction worker,  had worked for RCAin Cambridge and for the Consol Coal Co., for 13 years.  He was aWorld War II Army veteran.
Mr. Hayes leaves his wife, Gladys Anderson Hayes, whom he marriedSept. 13, 1948.  Also surviving are four sons,  Gary Hayes and StephenHayes, both of Antrim;  Lewis Hayes of Deep Gap, N.C. and Kenneth Haysof Zanesville;  one daughter, Mrs. Darrold (Maria) Brentlinger ofFreeport;  one brother Oscar Hayes of Byesville;  one sister, InnonaHallford of Big Springs, Texas;  seven grandchildren;  twogreat-grandchildren;  several nieces and nephews.

Gladys "Peg" L. Hayes, 65, of Antrim, died Thursday (Oct. 3, 1996) atSoutheastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb 7, 1931, in Noble County, daughter of the late Thomasand Blanche Williams Anderson.
She was a homemaker and Protestant by faith.  She was a 1984 graduateof Pleasant City High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lawrence Hayes, on Sept.29, 1989;  a son Lewis Hayes;  two brothers and a sister.
She leaves three sons and two daughters-in-law,  Gary and Stephen andShirley Hayes, all of Antrim and Kenneth and Diane Hayes ofZanesville;  a daughter Mrs. Darrold (Maria) Brentlinger of Antrim;two brothers, Biry Anderson of Massillon and John Anderson of PleasantCity;  two sisters, Mrs. Dale (Edna) Porter of Caldwell and NaomiAnderson of Cambridge;  a daughter-in-law, Ann Hayes of Hickory N.C.;seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

BYESVILLE---Paul D. Hayes, 55, of 4730 Sugar Grove Road, Cambridge,died at 8:45 A.M. Saturday (March 5, 1988) at Good Samaritan Hospital,Zanesville.
He was born May 29, 1932, in Monroe County, son of the late Truman andMamie Delong Hayes.
Mrs. Hayes was a roller operator for Shelley & Sands Co.,  Zanesville.He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of OperatingEngineers Local 18, Akron.  He attended Bethlehem Methodist Church.
On Dec. 14, 1957, he married the former Arletha Eubanks, who survives.
He and his wife were active in the foster parents program and theywere presented the Sertoma "Service to Mankind Award" in 1979.  Mr.Hayes was named "Foster Father of the Year".  He and his wife caredfor over 100 foster children.
Besides his wife,  he leaves a son, Daivd, of the home;  two fostersons, Chris Kagafas of Melbourne, Fla. and Trey Kagafas of Columbus; adaughter, Mrs. Dennis (Deborah) Roll, of Orlando, Fla.;  two brothers,Oscar Hayes of Cambridge R.D. 2 and Ray Hayes of Antrim;  a sisterMrs. Kaye Hallford of Big Spring, Texas;  a granddaughter, KristenRoll of Orland, Fla.
Two brothers, Cecil and Dick are deceased.

He was born March 12, 1946, in Woodsfield, son of the late Allen "Cap"and Amelia (Stephen) Hayes.
Mr. Hays was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. Hewas a member of Living Water Fellowship Church and was a formeremployee of Y&O Coal Co.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister,Geneva Leasure.
He leaves his wife, Judy (Campbell) Hayes; two sons, Scott (Christina)Hayes of Woodsfield and Shannon (Andrea) Hayes of Barnesville;daughter, Tina (Todd) Tucker of Barnesville; brother, Gervis (Genevra)Hayes of Quaker City; two sisters, Gertrude Brown of New Concord andAlmeta Morris of Woodsfield; eight grandchildren, Lacy (Chas) Starr,T.J. She was preceded in death by husband, Dale E. Morris on June 6, 2004;brother, Kenneth Hayes; and sister, Geneva Leasure.

D. 1,  Mrs. Danny (Robin) Stephens ofCaldwell R. D. 1;  three sons, Gary of Summerfield;  Greg ofBarnesville and Calvin of Fort Carson, Colo.;  10 grandchildren;  twosisters, Gerturde Brown of Woodsfield R. D. 3, and Almeta Morris ofWoodsfield R. Mr. Leasure was a retired labor.  He was a U.S. Army veteran, havingserved World War II and the Korean War.
He was a Methodist by faith.  He was a member of American Legion Post415, Summerfield and VFW Post 4721, Caldwell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva M. (Hayes) Leasure onAug. 3, 1982;  two sons, Kim and Greg Leasure;  three brothers, Carl,Earl and Kenneth Leasure;  two sisters, Betty and Geneva Leasure.
He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Anthony (Robin) Jordon of Dayton,Mrs. Kenneth (Melinda) Hoyt of Graysville and Bev. He was born near Calais on May 18, 1938, a son of the late Allen C.Hayes and Amelia Stephen Hayes.
Gervis was a retired operator for Shelley and Sands Contracting,Zanesville. He was a life member of the Ohio Operating Engineers,Local 18, Akron; a protestant by faith; a social member of the VFW,American Legion, Fraternal Order of the Eagles and Loyal Order of theMoose all of Barnesville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters,Geneva Leasure and Almeta Morris; and a brother, Kenneth Hayes.
Surviving are his wife, Genevra Carpenter Hayes, whom he married onJune 14, 1958; four daughter, Sharon (Timothy) Snyder of Summerfield,Cathy (Darryl) Nalley of Calais,Carrie Heath of Woodsfield, SheilaWhiteley and her companion, Brent Lumbatis of Summerfield; one sister,Gertrude Brown of Barnesville; seven grandchildren, Bradley Snyder,Peggy Pitts, Ricks Hayes, Stephen Heath, Ryan Nalley, Jeremy Whiteleyand Jared Lumbatis; two great-grandchildren, Brody and Khloe Pitts;and several nieces and nephews.
