3056. Joseph A. Wise

Joseph A. Wise, 38, of 324 Cross St.,  Summerfield, died Mondayevening Feb. 1, 1991, in the Wezel County Hospital,  New Martinsville,W.Va., following an automobile accident in Monroe County.
He was a construction worker, a member of Union Local 639,  Mariettaand a protestant by faith.
Born on Oct., 1953, in Caldwell,  Mr. Wise was the of Elizabeth DaileyWise and the late Paul Joseph Wise.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Okey Wise, whomhe married Jan. 6, 1980;  two daughters, Tracy and Kayla Wise, both ofthe home;  one brother, Kenneth Wise of Summerfield and one sisterBarbara Lashley of Quaker City.
Friends were received Thursday from 2 to 9 P.M. at Brubach-WattersFuneral Home, Summerfield,  where services were held at 1 P.M. onFriday, Minister Mike Madden officiated. Burial was in EasternCemetery.

"Red" Hannahs, 59, of 33735 State Route 78, Lewisville, Ohiodied Tuesday, June 05, 2007 at his residence.  He was born nearBatesville, Ohio on December 3, 1947 a son of the Grace Morris Hannahswho survives of Quaker City, Ohio and the late Samuel Vernon Hannahs.He was a retired employee of the Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio;currently serving as Summit Township Trustee with 32 years of serviceand was the current President of the Monroe County TrusteesAssociation.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by hisfather-in-law, Robert Wise.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Connie Wise Hannahswhom he married February 11, 1967 are three sons: Mitch (Amy) Hannahsof Robinson, Illinois, Mike (Mollie) Hannahs of Barnesville, Ohio andSam (Shannon) Hannahs of Parkersburg, West Virginia; three brothers:Eugene (Patty) Hannahs of Springfield, Ohio, Brice (Norma) Hannahs andBradley Hannahs all of Summerfield, Ohio; three sisters: Sandy Bennettof Zanesville, Ohio, Rosalie Bausch and Kathy Hannahs both ofColumbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Derek, Lacie, Kori, Kylee, Gage,Kaleb and Xavier; mother-in-law: Donna Wise of Barnesville, Ohio; twobrother-in-laws: Frank (Margie) Wise of Barnesville, Ohio and Tom(Elaine) Wise of Lewis Center, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-9 P.M. Thursday, June 7, 2007at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield,Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 8,2007.  Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville,Ohio.


4144. Laura Jean Shipley

Laura Jean Shipley, three-month-old daughter of Gary Alan and AnnaChristine Foughty, 548 Dewey Ave., was pronounced dead at 11:20 P.M.Friday (Sept. 20, 1968) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital.
Guernsey County Coroner Dr. W.A. Larrick said cause of death has notyet been determined.
The infant was born June 29, 1968, Barnesville.
In addition to her parents, she leaves her maternal grandparents ,T-Sgt. and Mrs. Richard Gargulinski, Barnesville;  paternalgrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Shipley, Barnesville;  maternalgreat-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rezeabek, Barnesville andpaternal great-grandfather, Homer Shipley, Fairview.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday at Campbell FuneralHome,  Barnesville, with the Rev. Roy Hilliard officiating.  Burialwill be in Fairview Cemetery.  Sat. 21 Sept. 1968 CambridgeJeffersonian Cambridge Ohio.


Patsy Mae Clay

Pasty Mae Shipley Porter, 48, of New Concord, died Sunday (May 16,1999) at Genesis, Good Samaritan Campus, Zanesville.
She was born July 18, 1951, in Sewellsville, daughter of the lateClifford and Myrtle Warner Clay.
Mrs. Porter had worked at NCR for the past 14 years, she was employedby March Electric. She was a Baptist by faith and a member of Eagles386. She was a 1969 graduate of Madison High School.
She leaves her husband, Alan Porter of the home, whom she married onDec. 31, 1996; four daughters, Leesha Shipley of New Concord, Mrs. Ben(Heather) Harper of Cambridge, Amber Porter and Lisa Porter, both ofthe home; a brother, Darvin of Flushing; a sister, Mrs. George (Patty)Emerick of Byesville; two grandchildren, Tony and Cody Harper; severalnieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home,Cambridge, where services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday.
