Sheila Carpenter Bourner produced an excellent set of articles called "Carpenter Cameos" that protrayed our Carpenter Family in England.
While she is officially resigned from her Carpenter Family research, due to poor health for her self and her husband, her hand was steady and clear in a letter dated 14 Jan. 1997.
7 Oct. 1997 Letter: Sheila provided addtional data on her family line.
She is currently living in Taunton, Somerset, England.
Sheila is a life long member of Scout/Guide Movements holding various Commissioner appointments. At present, District and County Scout Archivist.
She is a keen Family Historian, member of Society of Genealogists, Guild of One Name Studies and various Family History Societies.
She is a life long member of the Church of England, but has been recently attending "wonderful fellowship in the Silver Street Baptist Church where my daughter is a deacon." Sheila expressed that she hoped to be baptised in time for her 77th birthday in January 1998.----------
