Subject: Carpenter Family Website
John/Bob,
I came across your Group 5 website while doing research and wanted to tell you how helpful it was as I have had trouble finding anything further back than my 2nd great grandfather Joseph C. Carpenter. Was happy to also find myself in the tree
9664 M i Christopher Lee Coulter-13144.
I did have a couple of questions I was hoping you could help with
1.For Francis Elizabeth Carpenter there is a note: 5387 "Winona Hughes called 3/29/1999 with information on Joseph C.Carpenter's daughter". Would either of you know how to get in contact with Winona? My dad said he had heard of people calling my great grandfather Shoat, but had never seen it written anywhere and we wanted to see what other information Winona might have and if she was a cousin.
2. Wanted to correct one fact on "John O. "Shoat" Pinion-13240 He died 1 on 6 Jun 1984 in Chattanooga, Hamilton, TN." He actually died in 1980. Your note says the information came from Gypsy V. Pinion, which is my great great aunt, and I'm sure it was just a typo as it is 100% 1980 as documented on his death certificate and on his grave.
3. I have a lot of dates and other information on everyone in the family from Francis on down and would be happy to provide that information if you are interested.
4. I would also be interested in any photos of members of group 5 if you know who would be a good resource for that.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Chris Coulter
