The Book that I have is a personal Book of Remeberance that several people have participated in using family birth records and imformation form cirtificates and all that they could, also these are pedigree chart records that were submitted into the Temple Oradinance Data, as my grandmothers sister was a morman and she kept tract of all of these records for many many years and there is also a book published by herself and another family member of whice name is MADDY, the book being called US MADDY's , but this book is a personal referance book that has names and such submitteded since the early 1900's, it is a very old book, in very good condition with a leather cover.
All that I can go by is Jesse's Children's Names( this is all that was submitted into the book and was by my GGrandfather James Minks Jr. in 1940,) that I have in this book. I know that Jesse CArpenter would of been from the generation before my GG-Grandfather's James Newton Minks Sr.whom was b. Jan 3,1849, and from what I have been told Sarah was also born about 1850 so Jesse Carpenter may have been born in or abour 1812 or so.
I do know that his son Joshua Carpenter married my my GG-Grandfather's sister Nancy Minks . Nancy was born 1845. All of the Minks in this family were born in Monroe Co., Indiana.
