Jacob then died on 9-28-1952 at the age of 26 and is buried in the Wheeling IOOF Old Indian Trails Cemetery Washington Twp, IN.
Henry Carpenter (b. 01 Mar 1828, son of Thomas Carpenter & Nancy Conrad) then married Phebe (Brown) Hazlebaker on 2-17-1856 (marriage book C3, page 238) in Delaware County, IN.

Phoebe Catherine Carpenter, daughter of Henry H. Carpenter and Phoebe Katherine Brown Hazelbaker Carpenter, married John Henry Rodefer on June 14, 1879 in Richland County, Wisconsin.
Phoebe and John Henry were parents of 12 children, 2 died in infancy.
John Henry Rodefer died in 1922, he and Phoebe are buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Monroe County, Wisconsin.
From my Brown Descendants information, Phoebe next married Carroll Eugene Gray, Abt. March 1930 in Wisconsin. Carroll had 10 children with his first wife, Lula Belle Jacobs Gray. His occupation was Shoe Repairman. He died in Baraboo Sauk, Wisconsin at age 74. Carroll is buried next to his first wife Lula Belle at Richland Center Cementery, Richmond County, Wisconsin. Section O. D. Lot 117, there is no individual marker, the plot has a big Gray Family Momument.
