In 1870 and 1880 one of them is living with John, brother of Peter and in the 1880 US Census he is listed as a nephew. Yet the only sons of Joseph that I have are John and Peter. This means there is a son of Joseph un-accounted for who left his son Levi (b. 23 Sep 1858) with his brother John.
