I'm having trouble working through the second file due to the volume of my email and I just wanted to write to thank you and offer a few comments so far:
- in the House file, you have Ida Garland married to Banton House, son of Banton and Martha Jane Bernard. The Banton who actually married Ida was that Banton's eponymous nephew, son of James, who himself was the son of Banton and Martha Jane! TO see the truth, load up the Kentucky death cert of Banton House who died in 1953. It shows both his parents and his wife. The whole family is huge and it took me quite a while to sort out - indeed, prompted by your note I am still finding new bits of it! All the info is available at either of my URLs below. It's not clear how crucial all those House families are to you but I thought I would mention it anyway, just in case.
- Oris LaDon Carpenter divorced in 1972 in Florida
- Shirley Ann Carpenter married in 1956 and divorced in 1965. Oregon divorce record card at Ancestry has a MASS of info on it! I've been able to work this family back to a huge tribe!Best regards and thank you again
