50. William Carpenter Jr.

Per Leslie D. Carpenter
or :
William was born 1780 and died in 1826. He's also buried in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Loudoun County. We have strong leads that his wife was a Trussell. On my trip to Loudoun County a few months ago, I found paperwork where Jr's wife died and her name was Priscilla. Priscilla was a member of the Ebenezer church for several years. Some of their children are still questionable, but I am confident of these: Mary (buried in the Ebenezer cemetery 1826), Susan Carpenter Romine (wife of Hiram Romine), Mahala and Elizabeth (they were beneficiaries of their brother Fenton T. Carpenter's estate), Fenton T. Carpenter, Smith Carpenter, and John Deskin Carpenter.

76. Jonathan Carpenter

Per Terry Lee Carpenter, the name is Jonathan and not John. He did the research to confirm this.

82. Isaac C. Carpenter

2011 UPDATE:
Isaac b. 1764 in Halifax, Halifax, NC stated for the American Revolutionary War Pension board in October 1832.  His brother William Carpenter (born abt 1771 of Anson county, NC) was alive in Oct 1832 and provided testimony at the Pension Board.  Isaac father's name is not mentioned in the 1832 pension statement.  See pdf file link below for complete transcribtion. Isaac served 3 times in the Militia, the first as a substitute for his father. He received a pension.

PARENTS:
Father reportedly was William Fauntleroy Carpenter (abt 1750 England - d. 1804 NC per PRF Compact Disc #89 Pin #937692), but dates do not match.  This father has been disproved. JRC
William of Ornage County, Va is father. But, more info is needed.

Willis's Company under the command of Col. John Branch. Discharged 15 Feb 1782 in Halifax County, NC. His first establishment in the NC Militia was as a substitute for [corrected  to remove father's name which is not on pension form] his father who had been drafted. He applied for a pension (#S8168) which was started on 6 Feb 1833 at the age of 70. He received an annual allowance of $34.67.
Isaac and Martha Allen were buried on the family farm. Years later, a new owner was plowing the field in which they were buried and dug up their bodies. A relative of Martha's recovered the headstones and placed them in the Concord Methodist Cemetery. Isaac and Martha are the g-g-g-grandparents of Tom Fagart of Concord, NC who maintains this memorial. They are the grandparents of Sally Bethune McKay Cauble, Cpl. Daniel McKay of Co C, 14th NC Infantry Regiment, and Pvt. Martin A. McKay Co C, 14th NC Infantry Regiment who are buried and have memorials at the Bethlehem Cemetery, Ansonville, NC.
