Ronda Ray Adams: Graveside services for Ronda Ray Adams, 49, of San
Diego, CA, and formerly of Copperas Cove, will be at 11 a.m. Monday
at Tobey Cemetery near Oakalla with Revs. Mark Kemp and Houard Bridges
officating. Adams died Monday in a San Diego hospital from injuries he
suffered in a pedestrian-automotive accident. He was born Sept. 5 1949,
in Lampasas . He was reared and educated in the Copperas Cove area.
He was a 1965 graduate of Copperas Cove High School. He resided in the
Copperas Cove area for 47 years until moving to San Diego, CA, two
years ago. He was employed for 29 years as a computer specialist. Adams
was a member and decon of Oakalla Baptist Church. He was a scoutmaster of
Boy Scout Troup 90 in Kempner and a member of the Masonic Lodge in
Copperas Cove. Survivors include his wife, Gail Adams of Barstow, Calif,;
a son, Brian Adams of New Braunfels; his mother, Oza Weaver of Copperas
Cove; and a sister, Sandra K. Adams of Copperas Cove. The family will see
visiters from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Crawford-Bower Funeral Home in
Copperas Cove. Memorials may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Drivers at
445 W. Killeen, TX 76542. A procession will leave the funeral home at
10:30 a.m. Monday to go to the cemetery.
