Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Carpenter died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born July 5, 1954, to Jesse and Imogene Singleton Carpenter. Survivors include his son, Adam G. Carpenter; daughter, Ashley L. Carpenter; mother, Imogene Carpenter; brother, Gregory K. Carpenter, and his wife, Dewanna; nephews, Jed Earls, Jeremy Johnson, Jason Johnson, Jacob Earls, Clayton Earls and Ryan Johnson; and nieces, Chloe Carpenter and Marley Carpenter. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Johnson, Jason Johnson, Harvey Jordan, Raymond Johnson, Paul Wood and Damine Jordan.
