A tanner and a shoemaker. This family is confusing due to the fact that all children were given to
Elizabeth (Betsey) Smith in the computer record.
Children have been sorted according to birth and marriage dates.
The last Abel (b. 1883) was married 1853 and died 1886 but was married and
had children. This indicates another Abel in the family, probably born
between 1823 and 1828 the father of Abel who was born in 1883.
