A friend of mine found the family record of Zenith in something she purchased at a sale in Springfield, MO. We would like a copy of it to go to a family member who would be interested.
The family is Zenith Alvis Carpenter b. 27 Apr 1884; md
Myrtle Seuell 10 June 1914. etc. etc.
Children were Nannie May, Helen Elizabeth, Donald Howard,
Zenith Jr., Mildred Lee, Laura Genevieve, Mary Ellen, William Ross, Martha Fern Carpenter.

John, I received a copy of the Zenith Alvis Carpenter family papers also. There is a good chance that he is the son of William Russell Carpenter and Mary Angelina Alvis. William being a son of Zenith and Cynthia Hendricks Carpenter. I am in contact with a family member and soon hope for confirmation. It all appears logical, but proof needed. Mary Angelina was a daughter of Thomas H. Alvis, Sr. and and Mary Elizabeth Moore. Angelina and her husband William Russell Carpenter are buried in the McComas Cem., Platte Co., MO where Zenith and Cynthia lived after Hardin Co., TN.
