A transcription of the Obituary for Myrtle May (Richards) Carpenter

Mrs. J.W. Carpenter of 122 West North Street, 45 died last evening atBorgess Hospital following an illness of one day with apoplexy.
Mrs. Carpenter, nee Myrtle Richards, was born at Clyde, Ohio, and whenquite young moved with her parents to Bloomville, Ohio.  Here she wasmarried August 20, 1883 to J.W. Carpenter.  Mr. and Mrs. moved toDecatur, Indiana, and came to Kalamazoo 11 years ago.
She is a member of the local Daughters of Hur and of the Women'sRelief corps. She leaves a host friends in the city to mourn heruntimely death.
The deceased is survived by a husband, one daughter Mrs. Frank Ehrmanof this city and two sons, Maurice of Detroit, and Ernest of Mendon.
