They lived in Scranton, PA.


7770. Charles James Franklin

Charles and Bertha lived in the Nicholson area.  They later either
separated or divorced.  She lived in Factoryville at the time of her
death.  Bertha is buried in the West Lenox Cemetery.  Charles is buried
in the Franklin Cemetery.

Obituary:
Charles J. Franklin Claimed by Death
Charles J. Franklin, 77, of RD 2, Factoryville, died this morning in
West Side Hospital after an illness of several weeks.
Mr. Franklin was born in North Abington Township and resided in that
section until moving to Benton Township about three years ago.  He was
employed by the Davis-Sweeney Laundry in Binghamton prior to his
retirement.  Mr. Franklin was a son of the late Arnold and Harriet
Townsend Franklin.
Surviving are two sons, Robert, RD, Hop Bottom, and Howard,
Susquehanna; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Berlew, Dryden, N.Y. ; 14
grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Naugle, East Stroudsburg, and
Mrs. Grace Stanton, Fleetville.
The funeral will be from the Young & Clemens Funeral Home, 418 South
State St., Clarks Summit, at a time to be announced.
Interment, Franklin Cemetery, North Abington Township.  Friends may
call starting Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.

Obituary:
Mrs. Bertha Franklin Dies at Factoryville
Mrs. Bertha Franklin, 77, former resident of Lenox Township,
Susquehanna County, died yesterday morning at the Baker Rest Home,
Kemmerer Ave., F actoryville.
Surviving are two sons, Howard, Susquehanna, and Robert, Hop Bottom,
and a daughter, Mrs. Paul Berlew, Dryden, N.Y.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 2 P.M. from the Randall Funeral
Home, Hop Bottom.  Rev. Theodore Matel and, Lenoxville Baptist Church,
will officiate.  Interment, Power Cemetery, Lenox Township.

9309. Howard Franklin

He married (name unknown) and eventually divorced her.  He never
remarried although he had a long time friend, Esther Rupakus, who
predeceased him.


9310. James Beldon Franklin

Cause of Death: Pneumonia


Known as Beldon.  Born on a farm in Nicholson, PA.  Died of pneumonia in
a Binghamton hospital in 1936.  He was a farmer and an avid hunter.
