Number 1635-7 in the Timothy Carpenter book.
Clayton is referred to as "Speck".  Although blood line a true Carpenter
descendant bearing that surname, he was raised as a Barker and adopted that
surname.  In 1966, he was residing in the Chicago area.

9889. Lynn Dee Barker

Number 2101-8 in the Timothy Carpenter book under Lynn Dee Barker Carpenter.
Although blood line, a true Carpenter descendant, capable of bearing
that surname, her father was raised as a Barker and adopted that surname.
Lynn Dee was thus born a BARKER.

In 1966, Helen and Charles were living in the Post Office Building at
Adamstown, PA.  Charles was the Postmaster.
