In the spring of 1805, Enos and his family emigrated to Canada, and settled in York county, Ontario, two miles or less from the village of Newmarket, on the lot of land afterwards owned by his son Isaac; it being lot No. 26 in the second concession of the township of Whitchurch; and there Enos and Rachel lived until they were laid to rest in Friend's yard on Yonge Street.
